Honestly, that is just too awesome for words. You should DEFINATELY be working for 2/entertain or someone, re-animating missing eps. How unbelievably incredible would an old episode look re-animated in that style by Time Girl? Words fail me. I bow before you in deference to your sheer amazingness.

;D Thank you so much Pod ;D

It seems your video is going viral. Here is a post from Tom Beck on the Chicago TARDIS Yahoo Group:

"Wow! This is the best mashup I've ever seen! (Not sure if this has
been posted here before. If it has, sorry for the re-post.)

I know Tom. He's been around in US fandom for over 30 years. A compliment from him like that is extremely high praise. Well done!

Bloody Hell TG, that is amazing.

I've been looking at Lightwave myself but that is about as much as I did. The phone book sized manual put me off a little!

The animation is first rate, while the use of audio clips is very well executed. What have you got up your sleeve next?

Can't wait............

Thank you so much graybags34!
And cheers slidinsidewayz :D

Mark - I think I have 3 of 4 animations in this thread…. All made with love of Doctor Who :)

This year is my 2001: A Who Odyssey - Kubrick does Doctor Who
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXnV1UNbTuM

Last year was a reconstruction for the Web of Fear trailer:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRBWOTFNotM

2007 was Santa as a Time Lord (makes sense really)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0xUSzb3Es0

2006 - The Doctor lands on the moon to live it up Apollo mission style

Seen them all now, and they're great!

Is there no end to your talents?

Out of curiosity, how long does it take to make a video from start to finish, say a 5 min one for example?

Thanks Mark, difficult to say, for the 2001 Who anim, I'd built all the characters (apart from Matt) over the last year or so in my spare time. What I did was build the 2001 sets, make Matt and animate and render - that took just over two weeks.
It was in the Guardian online!
http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2009/dec/02/youchoose-videos-youtube

Did anyone here get the Guardian yesterday, the 3rd? I think it might have been in the Technology section...but I didn't see the paper.

... Wow... <jaw drop> :o

I've been using 3D StudioMax for years and just never did anything like that. What stuff are you using to create this?
