I bought some yellow glass paint with a view to making my pebbled panes yellow. So far I've only tested it on spare pieces, but it certainly seems to make clear glass yellow! It takes 24 hrs to cure, and can be peeled off apparantly, unless you bake it in the oven (my box won't fit under our griller though), then it's permanent. Has anybody else gone down this road and have any results to share?

never heard of that before but it sounds like a great idea!!! does it peel off easy? if not it probably won't get to much damage on the tardis, and if it does it just adds character do you have any pics of it. it like to see what it is and how it works

Does the paint dry see-through (like just coloured glass as opposed to painted glass) coz I've debated using blue for the middle glass panel like the Barnet Box.

Hi Mark, I'm so sorry for the inexcusably tardy (no pun intended) response to your question! The paint does dry see-through, although if you were using it on a plain clear pane of glass rather than pebbled, which I think the blue pane on the Barnet box is (?), it may not dry evenly, given you have to paint it on by hand. I'd suggest sourcing a real blue pane of glass may be more effective.
