Well I don't think I've seen a blueprint for that particular console. If you watch This Video. showing the original screen used console. You can work it all out on your own rather quickly, they give rough dimensions in the video. The console is also not too busy with gadgets so therefore easier to make compared to some of the TV consoles.

As for materials, if just want one to impress your friend and not build a true replica; I would suggest the old DIY standard of cardboard, duct tape, and a lick of Paint.

For something more permanent, and a lot more work, you would require more research and a lot of wood working tools.

Good Luck.

Do you want it to be an exact replica? If so the Regenerations book by Philip Segal has some of the original design plans.
I'm in the latter stages of building a console inspired by the Tv Movie design out of 5mm plywood but have gone my own way with it since getting the exact controls and switches can be a bit tricky. If you look on my thread in the console builds section there are some good pics and links.

Best of luck!

Please head over to TARDIS Builders Forum, our sister site, and check out some new stuff discovered recently about the console.
