Funny you shoud say that, I was going for the master's black tardis when I did that, but as I was searching for the right spot on the color wheel, I just stopped on blue, and I thought "I gotta post this one"

Thanks. There seems to be something very... natural about it. The colors just seem to fit. I think that i'm happy enough with it to start filling in the details.

Thanks for the comment, but I've been working on those sketches for a long time, off and on. Sometimes I sat up all night drawing.

Very nice work my friend. Looking good. I like the way it looks like stone. Has a sort of cathedral-like aspect to it.

I have been putting the components together on mine to see how it looks fitted together. So far so good. You are really getting good at the program sir, I applaud you.

thanks very much. I like it in white, but I think i'll stick with the green. This was more of an experiment. I really need to start filling in more details on my console. I love yours, it looks amazing. All those switches and levers, the barber style chairs are perfect too.

actually the chairs you speak of are stools. Like the ones in front of slot machines. Found them online and imported them. Thought they looked the part.

Thanks for the kudos on the console. Lot of work but it is looking good. I am just running out of ideas and I don't want to repeat the same controls over and over again.

Thanks very much. I've made some recent progress on the interior, I just haven't posted pics yet. The original plan was to have several different console rooms connected by hallways resulting in a massive tardis interior. The last room pictured isn't connected to the other rooms yet, but i plan to do so when I've finished detailing it.

Actually, yes. I have made a few changes to the console and the room itself. If I can remember, I'll post pics after work.

A few changes, around the bottom of the walls, the columns by the door and the rails leading up to the console. Also a few minor additions to the console itself.

Great UPDATE! I love the mechanicals that are on your console. Really rugged and tech! I get the feeling that they all have important functions. I love the landing sites too Dude. Awesome work.

Thanks, Jaren. I've still got a lot to fill in on the console, and I'll probably put some furniture in there, too.

Thanks, dude. You saw a small portion of two out of three landing backgrounds that i've been working on. This is why I haven't gotten much done inside the tardis. I've spent many hours on the castle, autobot city(and this one will probably go on to make the entire planet of cybertron) and a spaceship (not shown here)

I liked the green rotor better, but if you're set on those two I'd say red

You know my feelings on blue. I do like the red however. It kind of keeps with the Baker feel that the console has.

I was about to start filling in details on the old console, and I had some new ideas about how to make the room more "new series-ish". So, I decided to start over with a blank page and try something a bit different. A console based on the original 60's model inside a room based on the NST. What do you think?

It looks Lonely. I like the look but with the high arched roof it just seems so empty without the floor to roof colum.

It may also be the lack of supports as well, they take up quite a bit of relastate on the new set.

I like the structure of the dome definitely. I would agree with Darksyde here, it needs some element that connects the dome in some way to the rest of the room. Even in the TVM console room, it had that huge framework around the console that kind of filled the space between the console and the vast interior. I would say maybe a column that extends higher (maybe to the ceiling), cables that come down like the new series, or some sort of supports. I would vary any of those elements to keep the old school feel, but I would agree you need to activate that space somehow. Maybe massive view screens? Love the concept.
