Police Public Call Box

So, this is where the TARDIS design stemmed from; a piece of street furniture from way back when. Talk about them and post up your photos here.

Also of note is the back lintel sign has been removed, as the box is flush against the window frame there.... Hendon? « Reply #2 on Apr 25, 2005, 8:12pm » Hey, loads of stuff that I can answer today - yes, you've guessed it - this is a Once Upon a Way replica... in fact, it's one of the first batch they made. I used to be in regular contact with this company in the early 90s and the chap, whose name I can't remember now, said that Hendon assisted them with some reference material and ended up buying one of the replicas for their display.
