My Console Here's my console as it currently looks. It's been under way occasionally for about 4 years. Still not really finished. ScarfWearer 03/02/2004
From a different angle Now we have the technology, I've added a flat panel display under the navigation panel. There's a PC buried in there somewhere too. ScarfWearer 03/02/2004
Under the Panels Here's what it looks like inside ScarfWearer 03/02/2004
With the Collar removed Here's a closeup showing the central rotor. ScarfWearer 03/02/2004
The Tardis Computer According to some of the plans this panel is the Tardis central computer. ScarfWearer 04/02/2004
From Above I really need to repaint the floor... ScarfWearer 04/02/2004
The Crank Opening the plinth to see the crank ScarfWearer 04/02/2004
closeup of the crank There are two parts to this: The column is counter-weighted so it can move up and down freely, and there is a crank box which pushes it up and down like a piston. It needs some adjustment at the moment, as it's not working well. ScarfWearer 04/02/2004
The Computer I had to cut down the case to get it to fit under there ScarfWearer 06/02/2004
The ceiling Rarely seen in the series and never completely, this is my interpretation of what might be up there when you look up, Getting it up there was back-breaking . ScarfWearer 06/02/2004
Emergency Power Mode There are a couple of stories where the power fails (only a couple?) so I thought some subdued lighting would be good. ScarfWearer 06/02/2004
console pic Here's an exploded view of my console with some approximate dimensions. I found it best to built the substructure with some basic dimensions and then cut the smaller parts to fit. ScarfWearer 30/05/2004
Kidnapped! Thanks to the TARDIS's dimensional grace, we managed to kidnap some daleks in 1971. Of course we took them back... eventually. ScarfWearer 05/08/2004
Wander in the 3rd Dimension Here's a stereo pair of the console. To see this, maximize your browser, sit a little back, put your finger pointing upward about 8" from your nose so that when you look at the picture you see two ghosts of your finger both pointing at the base of the console in each picture. Now look at your finger. Now turn your attention to the console, and it should snap into focus in glorious 3D. Don't do this for long as it may give you eye-strain. It's time I did some new 3D shots - though there are few more on my website here: Relative Dimensions.

Those are superb. I'm 47 now and I've been taking stereo photos since I was a teenager. Trust me it doesn't strain your eyes. In fact with a bit of practice you can "freeview" with ease.

Hey..I never thought of doing that with two photos! The results are amazing, especially your shots and extra especially looking through the door of your TARDIS. I was there I swear it! Brilliant. Thank you!
