"Have you got a mobile phone? Do you love Doctor Who? If the answer is a double affirmative - and let’s face it, unless you're some kind of icon-hating technophobe, it should be - you need a Doctor Who Phone Charm.
Just like MoPods, these clever little charms flash and spin every time a call comes in. But unlike MoPods each transparent dome comes direct from Gallifrey by way of Skaro and contains a Tardis or a Dalek. And if you're a genuine Dr Who freak, it doesn't come much more iconic than that."
Are there any Doctor Who freaks here? Wonder if they ship international?
That one looks pretty neat too. Not a bad model either by the looks of it. OK, they got the blue light bit wrong!
"We all know the Tardis can travel through time, but did you know it can tell you when you've got a call? Well, this version can anyway. This 10cm (4in) high replica of the Doctor's famous police box has a sensor that instantly detects when you get a call on your mobile. If your phone is on silent, the Phone Flasher lets you know you have a call with a flash of its famous blue lamp. Pop it on your desk, hide your mobile in your drawer the boss will never know what your secret signals mean.
If you prefer the full Tardis effect, and don't care who knows you've got a call, you can enjoy sound effects too. Turn off the Mute function, and your Tardis will shudder with the spooky sound of dematerialisation. An official Doctor Who product, the Phone Flasher is the ideal gift for fans of the show."
Well, how about having something similar to the real thing then? In a shop near to where I live (in the town of Aberaeron in Ceredigion) they are selling a 1/3rd sized model of the TARDIS with a phone inside it! Quite a novel idea I think
