Hi Graham Thanks for the kind words. My box is actually based on original police box spec. The Hartnell (or Brakachi) box is in my humble opinion the nearest tardis to that, so yeah it's kind of Hartnellish, if you like. Many thanks KB

Hi Dori Glad you like my attempt at a met box. One question, How can one so young feel nostalgic towards something they can't possibly remember? And they say chivalry is dead. Many thanks KB PS How goes the project?
Easy makes me think of the older series of Doctor Who I used to watch on YTV alon gwith the movies, then it reminds me of all the things I was doing in life at that time. Hallowe'en mainly. Besides I can remember being in my crib and having my mum cat Darth watching over my crib.
Thanks for saying I am young....I am 25 and been feeling kinda out of it cause of my little sister an dher friends. Its just what I needed to hear. ;D

Hi Mark Thanks for the kind words. Unfotunately, at the moment all I can really think about is what to do after I'm made redundant after 28 years with Amec on the railway. I should know my fate in January. Of course if I can find further employment straight away (And it could be Network Rail, I'm told) my redundancy package will prove useful. I would love to own a dalek, although I would have nowhere to store it. Proud as I am of the met box, a dalek would be a different matter entirely in terms of building. Maybe, if my employment situation sorts it's self out, I may consider buying one. Whatever happens I will remain on TR2 where I feel I have many friends. Many thanks KB

Hi Karst Glad you like the picture, I'll upload some more later. Sorry, but the light's always on. It's simply wired directly into the interior light circuit. However, there is a member here, Anotherwheeze, who has a flashing light and sound effect all by remote cotrol. It's brilliant. Nice guy too, I'm hoping he'll help me get the electrics in Elsie sorted, when he's free. PM him, I'm sure he won't mind. Thanks KB
