Hey Guys thought i'd post up on a little project im working on, well i say project its just a bright idea i had while i was in poundland.
Found a multitool pen thingy with an led light, same size and shape, lovely, so i thought , bit of red plastic sort of thing you get in a box of quality street or roses over the light so you have the red light, cut a piece of rubber with a scalpel kit i have - make sure the rubbers the transluscent sort so you get the red glowing nb, paint it blue and bobs ya uncle uber cheap sonic lance

hey guys i feel that i must jump in here, me personally, i am a great supporter of celestial toystores sonic. I have physically seen, held and used the official sonic....
it sucks BIG TIME
The official has numerous inaccuracies which is pointed out coherantly objectively and precisly at the celetial toystores blog which can be supported by physically examining the "official" article.
Issues such as slider and light control rigidity which is an issue that a lot of people i am sure will take into account seeing as it would a desire to use the sonic in the manner of which we are accustomed to in the tennant era. The Official has a jamming problem which would spoils peoples enjoyment.
celestial however has taken this into account and video evidence of the quality of their finished product is full documented on youtube. I find it highly unusual that the offical does not , if it was so brilliantly spot on surely SOMEONE on the team would say hang about lets make a vid and show this bad boy off, however it strikes that millenium fx are covering their tracks where as celestial are only too proud to show their sonic off and best of bombay to them

had a thought whilst browsing youtube...
now i saw a fan vid on there in which the film maker made a tiny model console for forced perspective shots, but the design was the printed pictures of Rob semenoffs "up to date" console placed on the tiny panels...and that got me thinking
What if i were to design the 6 panels in photoshop, [tron meets star trek TNG] have them printed on clear plastic sheets [ya know the sheets that you use with overhead projectors a1 or a0 size, and then make six panels out of clear acrylic jigsaw them together and then simply stick the console designs on the panels and then with a light inside the body of the console illuminates the different colours and there you have a star trek tron esque console.
