Hi all,
I'm working on my latest Tardis model and I have a question. This is going to be the third Doctor/Sarah Jane Tardis from 74. My question is, did it have quarter round beading on all four corners? I remember there being some discussion on the site about this maybe not being the case.
Thanks Dave

Hiya, Well for 1974 you're looking at the Altered Brachacki, aka Brachacki Refit. The original Brachacki prop had three quarter rounds on each post. But this later prop had no quarter rounds adjacent to the side walls- so only two per post. It was damaged a lot over the years and by 1974 was very obviously asymmetrical in a lot of other ways. Both the front and back posts on the left side had lost their outer corner quarter rounds as well by then, so were down to one quarter round each. By that point the prop wasn't even rectangular when seen from above (so the roof didn't fit properly).
I think Bill Rudloff has been posting the various plans people have developed on tardisbuilders over on The TARDIS Owners Club facebook site, so you should be able to find all the details there.

Crispin Thanks Crispin, that's pretty much what I thought.....that they were on all four corner but missing the inside two on each side. When I was on here last year there was some discussion that at least one of the corners were squared off, but I think the group opinion was that it was just the way the photo looked......but that they were still there. Here is my progress so far.
